Ficciones Typografika is a ongoing project dedicated to graphic exploration in a public space and is curated by Erik Brandt (Typografika, AGI member).

Mar 21, 2018 - A project dedicated to typographic exploration in a public space. The exhibition surface is a 72"Wx36"H poster board which can host three 24"x36" posters at a time. Erik Brandt, Ficciones Typografika Intermezzo (2013). A heavy rain fell the morning of July 13, 2013 and the posters began to peel of their own volition. I removed the top layers to find these wonderful remnants (from Ficciones Typografika 001-009), and worked them a little bit with my old painters tool. New posters go up tomorrow morning.

I constructed a 72" x 36" poster board, which can host three 24" x 36" posters at a time. The project has it's own Tumblr, Ficciones Typografika, where I hope to post updates regularly. Over a five year period, a modest poster board hung in a Minneapolis neighborhood became a barometer for experimental typographic practice within the global design community.
